Return Policy
All returns must be made within 2 days of date of receipt of shipment. Customer is responsible for all freight charges.
No merchandise can be returned without prior authorization from The Silken Greenhouse.com.
All orders shipping out of the United States (including Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico) are shipped unpotted. International orders are non-returnable.
Potted merchandise (trees and large plants), custom made-to-order trees, and some other merchandise are non-returnable. Please contact us for more information.
Our products are not recommended for outdoor use unless expressly noted: The Silken Greenhouse.com is not responsible for any damage caused by weather.
Please open your cartons and identify all materials immediately upon receipt of shipment. This is to ensure all items ordered are present and intact.
Any product that has been subject to misuse, improper storage, unauthorized modification, unauthorized repair, neglect, alteration, improper installation or other acts which are not the fault of The Silken Greenhouse.com, including damage caused by shipping cannot be returned to The Silken Greenhouse.com.
If the product you receive is damaged, you MUST make note of damages on the truck bill of lading or immediately notify your FedEx, UPS, or Common Carrier driver to mark any damages on their shipping form. YOU MUST MAKE NOTE OF ANY DAMAGES BEFORE THE SHIPPING CLERK LEAVES YOUR FACILITY. The Silken Greenhouse staff will be happy to assist you with filing a shipping claim; however damage claims are your responsibility!

Give your order number or customer account number (if available), item number, and the quantity you wish to return. Also, briefly explain why you would like to return the merchandise.
Upon approval, we will issue you a return authorization number and instructions on how to return the merchandise. There is a 25% restocking fee on all returned merchandise. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges. Please mark the outside of your carton (s) with your return authorization number for immediate processing. Please do not ship any returns before contacting us first. Once we have received your return request, we will provide you with further shipping instructions.

Items not returned in their original box and/or improperly repackaged items will not be accepted by The Silken Greenhouse.com. If you are unable to use The Silken Greenhouse.com's original box, please notify us before you return the item.
The Silken Greenhouse.com will give you the correct shipping address to return the merchandise. Please DO NOT return product to us without receiving prior instructions or return additional merchandise not previously authorized.
The Silken Greenhouse.com is not responsible for the freight charges of returned goods directly resulting from customer error. However, we will assist you in choosing the most economical method to ship back your return.
You will have 2 days from the date you receive your return authorization number to send returned items back to our shipping facility. Authorized returns arriving back to The Silken Greenhouse.com more than 10 days from the date of the return authorization may be subject to additional return fees.
After the product has been returned and inspected by The Silken Greenhouse.com’s returns staff, we will issue a credit to either your credit card or by check, depending on what payment method was used at the time of purchase.

BACKORDERS
Backorders will be shipped automatically, without notice, up to 90 days, unless the customer specified a cancellation date. Discontinued items or sold out items will be automatically canceled, and amount of backorder will be credited back to customer’s credit card or checking account. |
